Reiki Session Info

    Pre-Session

    At least 24 hours prior to your session, please complete your Reiki Intake Form here.

    Before your session, please try to not drink caffeine or alcohol or eat a heavy meal so that you can be as clear as possible.

    We’ll start the session on Google Meet, so please have your phone, tablet or laptop ready.

    When receiving reiki, you’ll be lying down, so think about where you can do that comfortably. This may be a couch, the floor or a bed. Somewhere quiet and peaceful. You can wear anything you’d like that’s comfortable. You may want a blanket or an eye mask as well.

    I recommend listening to music during the session. Here’s a link to a Spotify playlist or you can also try this YouTube video.

    Have a glass of water nearby as well.

    During the session

    When you log onto the Zoom, we’ll start by doing a short grounding practice. Then we’ll discuss a bit about what is showing up for you, how you are feeling and any areas that you’d like to dive into with the reiki.

    I will then ask you to complete the prompts* below:

    After this check-in, we’ll do a short guided meditation.

    During the Reiki session, we’ll turn the Zoom off. You will get into your comfortable position and then set a timer for 30 minutes.

    After the 30 minutes, I’ll join you back on Zoom and we’ll do a quick reflection and your oracle card reading.

  • journaling

    Post-Session

    After the reiki session, you may feel more tired or relaxed. Let yourself sit in the comfort of that feeling and try not to schedule too much for the rest of the day. Try to avoid alcohol, caffeine and tobacco for 24 hours after. It can be helpful to journal any emotions or feelings that come up for you.

    Be gentle with yourself and listen to what your body needs.

    Pay attention to your dreams after the session and note anything that comes up when you first wake-up.

  • Distance reiki taps into universal life force energy, which does not require that we are in the same physical space or for me to place my hands on you. By setting the intention, I am able to connect to your energy and auric field. I use a mat with crystals to sense your physical body. However, reiki goes to wherever it is needed.

  • Reiki does no harm. It is a simple, gentle energy technique that is used for stress reduction and relaxation.

I believe in making my services as accessible as possible. Because of that, I offer a scaled pricing model that provides three different price options instead of one fixed price. Having three levels of pricing allows my clients to help me to support those in the community who may have less resources. Please choose the option that feels appropriate to you and your circumstances.

Payment is accepted via venmo or paypal on the day of your session.
